Multi-Activity Camp will operate every day from Monday 17th to Friday 21st February 2025.

Football Camp will operate on Tuesday 18th to Thursday 20th February 2025.

Both multi-sports and football only camps are aimed at children aged 5 to 14 years old, all abilities are welcome.

What are the dates for Easter camps?

Easter Camps operate from Monday 7th April to Thursday 17th April 2025.

Further details can be found by clicking the BOOK HERE link at the bottom of this page.

What age group should I book for multi-activity camp?

When booking a place at our multi activity camp please select your child’s current year group i.e. if your child is currently in year 2 and moving to year 3 in September, book ‘Years R, 1, 2’ on the system.

(there is only one booking option for our football only and 1-day specialist camps, players will be grouped by age on the day)

What are the times?

We offer parents the choice of two session timings, these being 8.30am to 6pm (Extended Day) or 8.30am to 4pm (Standard Day*).

*Our 1-day specialist camps operate from 10am to 3pm as standard; extended hours are avilable at a supplement cost.

What is the cost?

The 8.30am to 6pm session costs £32.10 per child, per day, and the 8.30am to 4pm session costs £26.75 per child, per day. Currently we do not offer any sibling discount; however discounts are available when booking a full 5-day week on Multi-Activity Camp, and a 3-day week on Football Only Camp.

Our 1-day specialist camp are priced differently; the Standard Day (10am-3pm) costs £20, to drop off early (8.30am) incurs a supplement charge of £5, to collect late (6pm), also incurs an additional charge of £5.

What should my child wear and bring with them?

All children, regardless of which camp they attend, should be dressed for sports (shorts, leggings, tracksuits, t-shirts, hoodies etc), and arrive wearing trainers. Footballers will need to bring their astro boots and shin pads with them to change into before we head outside.

Children should also dress according to the weather forecast i.e. waterproof coat, sun hat, fleece etc.

Additionally, children attending camp will need to bring a packed lunch, snack for morning break, and a drink in a refillable bottle. Please note we are a nut free zone.

During the summer months please always ensure children have sunscreen applied at home before they arrive at camp, PLUS, bring a bottle of sunscreen with them so that they can reapply during the day.

Can my child change camp on the day?

Our aim is always to ensure the children attending our setting are safe, learn new skills, and have fun with friends. During our morning welcome talk we sometimes get children asking to move from multi activity camp to football camp and vice versa. If we have the correct staffing ratios* in place we will permit children to swap from one camp to another. If you have booked your child into a specific camp because you want them to experience something new, and therefore would prefer them not to swap camps on the day, please inform a member of the team during drop off.

*to minimise having to decline transfer requests due to staffing ratios, we encourage parents to check which camp their child wants to attend and book accordingly

What age range do you cater for?

We can take children from aged 5 right up to age 14 years old. During the day we group children by school years (e.g. R, Y1 and Y2 / Y3, Y4 and Y5 / Y6 and above) wherever we can. Children at the upper age limit will need to be happy spending time with children slightly younger than themselves.

Where do I drop off and collect my child?

All parents are requested to drop off and collect their child OUTSIDE* of Edgbarrow Sports Centre. Children will be signed in by a member of the team and directed to their group area.

Although guidance has changed we prefer to continue doing our drop off/collections outdoors as we feel this will keep everyone safer. Thank you for you cooperation with this.

*Please come into reception if it is raining, please do not congregate inside, instead please drop off your child and exit the building, unless you need to speak with a member of the team.

How do you book?

Bookings are now live and can be made via the BOOK HERE link at the bottom of this page.

What at payment methods do you accept?

Our accepted payment methods are listed here.

PLEASE NOTE: Parents who select childcare vouchers, bank transfer or the tax-free scheme as their payment method will have 7-days to ensure their booking is confirmed. Where payment has not been received within this time, and if the parent has not been in touch with us to explain why, your booking may be cancelled and offered to someone on the waitlist.

What if the club I want to book is full?

Camps often fill up very quickly. Once the system is showing as fully booked you can register your interest to be included on the waitlist by emailing hello@stepupfoundation.org.uk  Names will be added to the waitlist in strict date order, and should a space become available due to a cancellation, we will email parents in the order in which they joined the waitlist. Parents who receive an offer of a place have 24-hours in which to accept and confirm their place, after which the place will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.

What is your phone number?

During camps you can contact the Operations Manager by calling 07444-714921 or via email to hello@stepupfoundation.org.uk. Our priority at camp is ensuring the safety of your children, therefore we may not always answer your call if we are busy. Please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as we can.
