Located at St. Michael’s Church of England Primary School in Sandhurst, our warm, welcoming, and safe environment ensures every child thrives, explores, and grows.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel valued and inspired. We aim to support working families by delivering reliable, flexible, and affordable childcare services that adapt to the needs of modern family life.
Our promise is to deliver a provision that pupils WANT to attend, and families feel CONFIDENT to book.
Our Aims
Inspire Growth: Foster children’s emotional, social, and physical development through stimulating activities and structured play.
Empower Parents and Carers: Provide dependable and flexible care to help parents and carers balance work and family life.
Build Community: Strengthen connections within the St. Michael’s School community, encouraging collaboration between families, staff, and children.
Promote Wellbeing: Ensure children’s safety, happiness, and confidence in a supportive, inclusive space.
Our Approach to Play and Activities
At The Den, we offer a carefully balanced mix of structured activities and child-led opportunities for play.
Structured Activities: Each session includes thoughtfully planned activities designed to promote learning, creativity, and physical development. From art and craft projects to team sports and educational games, our structured approach encourages children to try new things, build skills, and grow their confidence.
Child-Led Opportunities: We value the importance of free play and giving children the space to explore their own interests. By providing a range of engaging resources and a supportive environment, we empower children to shape their own experiences, fostering independence, imagination, and social interaction.
This blend of structure and freedom ensures every child has the chance to thrive in their unique way while benefiting from a safe and stimulating environment.
